The U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), Region VII, in Kansas City, Missouri, is collecting resumes for attorneys who would like to be considered for the position of general attorney – investigator, in OCR Region VII, which includes: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.
The mission of OCR is to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence throughout the nation through vigorous enforcement of civil rights. Our work touches every school or educational institution that receives federal financial assistance, all public educational institutions and all public libraries throughout the region.
